Description
This public telephone pedestal detail drawing illustrates the elevation and structural layout used for installing a pedestal-type public telephone unit. The drawing includes front elevation, side elevation, and sectional construction details showing how the telephone pedestal is fixed to a reinforced concrete foundation base. The pedestal structure supports the telephone set positioned at the upper section and protected by a structural cover. The detail shows the installation of tempered glass panels with a thickness of approximately 6 mm, which act as protective covers for the telephone information panel. The telephone equipment is mounted below the protective cover and attached to the internal support shelf using plastic rivets to secure the unit firmly within the pedestal structure.
