This Architectural Drawing is Penthouse Column Plotting plan. The plan which contains column size & position is called a column layout plan . The column layout plan is very important for a Structure. Because without column layout it's impossible to locate the actual location of the structure. Basically, the column layout plan is drawn by hand or Auto CAD. Always plan a column layout on a grid. Maintain equal distance between the centres of two columns. If using the minimum size of column 8” x 8” (200mm x 200mm) distance should not more than 3.5 m centre to centre of column distance. The distance between two reinforced columns ranges between 3-4 m for small buildings and 6-9 m for sizable facilities where large columns and free spaces are required.
