This Architectural Drawing is AutoCAd 2d drawing of Basement piping layout with details of slope in AutoCAD, dwg file.  The minimum desirable physical slope should be 0.5 percent for concrete and HDPE pipe and 1.0 percent for metal pipe, or the slope which will produce a velocity of 2.5 feet per second when the storm sewer is flowing full, whichever is greater.  The ideal slope of any drain line is ¼ inch per foot of pipe. In other words, for every foot the pipe travels horizontally, it should be dropping ¼ inch vertically. Many drains either have too little slope or too much slope.
