Causeway design, it is a design of a passage constructed in hill torrent area where the water erodes the pavement structure. the concrete structure has been provided to overcome the difficulty. the design is based on a concrete slab rested on compacted sub grade while the ends are protected by stone masonry retaining walls. the project is situated in the Azad Kashmir Pakistan city Muzafarabad, it is 4 km long road project including three bridges. the main objective is to construct a bypass for the traffic way out from the city. The project is located in the area where rains occurs and the roads deteriorate due to rain cuts. for the rain fall water ways causeways are designed to overcome the deterioration.
