This Architectural Drawing is a Foundation plan of two different sites. The foundation plan is a plan view drawing, in section, showing the location and size of footings, piers, columns, foundation walls, and supporting beams. A foundation plan ordinarily includes the following: • Footings for foundation walls, piers, and columns (hidden lines). There are five main foundation types and a handful of important variations, Basement Foundation, Crawlspace Stem Walls, Concrete Slab Foundations, Wood Foundations, Pier and Beam Foundations. Its goal is to distribute the load from the house to the soil. It is imperative that it can withstand the weight of the building. Usually, foundations are built with poured concrete or masonry such as brick or concrete block. For more information and knowledge download the drawing file.
