Description
This Architectural Drawing is HVAC Duct Work Layout plan for First floor of Commercial Building. The size of ductwork affects the amount of airflow and its velocity and is very important in how well the HVAC system operates. Rectangular ducting can come in various sizes from 3” x 7” up to 35” x 40”; and round ducting can be anywhere from 4” to 41” in diameter. Duct CFM Calculation Formula is
- Room CFM = (Room load/Whole house load) ? Equipment CFM.
- 24,000 BTUs ÷ 12,000 BTUs in 1 ton = 2 tons ? 400 CFM per ton = 800 CFM.
- Room A = (2,000 BTUs ÷ 24,000 BTUs) ? 800 CFM.
- Room A = 66.67 CFM.
